Meta Platforms faces a lawsuit over users' control of their Facebook feed. The Knight First Amendment Institute is advocating for a tool, Unfollow Everything 2.0, that would let users unfollow all Facebook content. The precedent-setting lawsuit discusses whether a clause in the Communications Decency Act lets users filter out unwanted content. If successful, it could lead to new streams of network development and research.
Google appears to be incorporating YouTube Music support into its Gemini AI, spotted in the latest Android Google app update. This integration may allow Gemini to manage YouTube Music playlists, search songs, and commence playback. It seems Google is also preparing for new Gemini shortcuts for Android, such as an expedited way to access Google Assistant.

YouTube is expanding its AI-powered "Jump Ahead" feature to all Premium users in the US. The feature, which utilizes AI to fast-forward to the most popular segments of a video, works only on the YouTube Android app and exclusively for select English-language videos. It is experimental and will be available until June 1.
