PayPal is launching its own stablecoin, PYUSD, fully backed by U.S. dollar deposits. The stablecoin enables person-to-person payments, transactions at checkouts, and transfers between PayPal and outside wallets. Users can also convert other currencies to and from PYUSD. PYUSD will be rolled out to U.S. customers with PayPal Balance accounts in the coming weeks and on Venmo soon.
In an exclusive arrangement, TSMC only charges Apple for successful 3nm processors despite a current 30% failure rate. This arrangement saves Apple billions and supports TSMC's development of 3nm processors, expected to be sold to other companies once failure rates decrease and capacity increases.
